Mars - swinging by for a visit....


** Not as close a visit as we had in 2003, but Mars is going to be visible on the horizon this weekend. Mars is still retrograde until mid-December, so actions have been slowed and many people are feeling the extra need for sleep, the fatigue, etc. This weekend's visit may signal a good time for taking naps! LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Mars is ready for another close-up.
For the second time in nearly 60,000 years, the Red Planet will swing unusually close to Earth this weekend.
